A private party in the Dover Lock  traditional meeting place to kit up
After Abram Morris Dancers, the young dancers from the local school perform in front of a capacity crowd at the Morris Dancers Ground
The King and Queen supervise the children's performance	Elsewhere the mobile Maypole with carrier is used
The team shelter from the sun by the hedge waiting to dance
At Brookside, there is time for refreshments...
...have a sit down...	...and grab 40 winks
Its a tough day walking between dancing spots...
...through the Jungles of Abram...	..across the Plains of Hindley..
...to the Desert  Oasis of Platt Bridge

Henry removes the bolts holding down the maypole Pilotman and Geoff (and your photographer) supervise. The top of the Maypole removed for ready for next year --------->>
Henry replaces the base plate covering the hole Pilotman and Geoff (and your photographer) supervise.	The original Maypole stone base with older pole holes filled
At last the Morris Dancers Ground is once more a green field site (plus a bit of red, white and blue bunting)
