During the holiday a temperature logger (thermochron) was attached to the rucksack/backpack and recorded the temperature every 5 minutes. If the sun shone directly on it, obviously it would read high. The rucksack came out on all landings and occasionally during day viewing on deck, the rest of the time it was on the floor of the cabin.
