Got the tickets off the Jules Verne representative and checked in. I am top of the group visa list so I’m asked to take the visa through immigration: "Present the copy to the passport control official, then check people through. Afterwards give the visa to the National Guide who will meet you - its as simple as that" - Quote from the Jules Verne representative, though we now know different!
The flight took off a little late and took just over 9 hours arriving at Beijing airport at about 9.30am local time (7 hours ahead of British Summer Time). So I guess now it’s Tuesday...
