6.30 morning call and everyone is checked out and waiting for the bus at 8.00, the lecture on punctuality and discipline on day one must have worked.
The tour leader picks up a couple more Jules Verne travellers on the way, then picks up 41 x 90 Yuan (total about 280 UKP) in airport taxes. It’s a good job that lot added up otherwise I could have found myself seriously out of pocket.
We pass through to the check in together with the visa, though the man was only interested in numbers and not who they were. One final line up (in group visa order) and everyone is through passport control and I say goodbye to the group visa.
The plane leaves at about 12.00, and arrives London about 10 hours later at 3.00pm local time. we are on the road at about 4.00 and get home about 8.00pm (net 3.00am next day) then do all the things you do after a holiday - start watching the video you’ve taken.
And that’s basically it.
